It pays to marry rich literally! Salma Hayek and her 46-year old billionaire fiancé Francois-Henri Pinault are reportedly planning a $3.5 million dollar wedding next Spring.

The National Enquirer is reporting that the wedding will be a five-day-long wedding ceremony in St. Tropez, France. All their guests will be put up in a 5-star hotel and be flown on a private jet.

An insider reveals, "It took Francois over a year to get Salma to agree to marry him, and he doesn't want to spare any expense. Francois basically gave her the key to the vault and said, 'Go wild.'"

According to the mag, Salma will spend $500,000 on a wedding dress and almost $1 million on flowers. $1 million on flowers is absolutely ridiculous, those things are going to die in a few days! But when your future husband is the boss of fashion houses Gucci, Yves St. Laurent and Balenciaga, money is obviously no object!

Salma Hayek treated herself to a shopping excursion yesterday at LA's Ron Herman store, which she more than deserved after taking home a prize for her acting and producing work at Tuesday night's Crystal + Lucy Awards. She looked gorgeous as always in her red Gucci top, but lately Salma seems more focused on her inner beauty and, of course, her growing daughter. At the awards ceremony, Salma opened up about her happiness. Here's more:

On happiness:"I have learned to enjoy time to be a woman. I have learned to enjoy how to do the most that I can with what I have . . . it is a good thing to be a 41-year-old Latina woman in America."
On Valentina:"I was with her right before we came. I was in the car telling my partner, I know it’s been 10 minutes, but I miss her already . . . she sticks her tongue out, she claps at everything. From day one, she’s been smiling and laughing. She’s a very happy baby. Everything she does melts my heart.”
With a gorgeous and healthy daughter at home and a likely marriage in the works, it's easy to see how Salma has ended up so content.

Leading Hollywood actresses Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek have denied any link with Mexican drug trafficker Sergio Villarreal, the owner of a ranch where the two actress have reportedly stayed while shooting the film Bandidas in 2004.

"The production of Bandidas arranged accommodation for all the actors, which is common practice in the film industry. Penelope Cruz decided to stay in a hotel, while Salma Hayek preferred to stay in a house," the two actresses said in a statement.

"Salma Hayek never knew who owned the house or had any contact with its owners or with anything associated with the rented place, which was paid for by the production company," the statement said.

"Neither the actresses nor their respective film companies were involved in the film's production," the statement issued by Cruz's agent concluded.

Mexican newspaper El Universal reported that the two movie stars spent several nights at a ranch owned by Sergio Villarreal Barragan in the northern state of Durango.

The 38-year-old Villarreal is a drug trafficker who operates in Durango, Coahuila and Sinaloa, the newspaper said, citing documents from the Mexican Attorney General's Office, known as the PGR.

Top Hollywood actresses Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek have allegedly spent several nights at the ranch of a Mexican drug trafficker while shooting for a movie in 2004, cited a Mexican daily.

The leading ladies of Hollywood reportedly stayed at a ranch owned by Sergio Villarreal Barragan in the northern state of Durango while shooting for the movie Bandidas in 2004.

The 38-year-old Villarreal is a drug mafia don who operates in Durango, Coahuila and Sinaloa, the daily said, citing documents from the Mexican Attorney General's Office, known as the PGR.

The newspaper said the ranch was hired during the shooting of the film to accommodate both actresses. However, the paper did not say whether the actresses knew the identity of the owner of the property.

The newspaper said the reporters in Durango who covered the filming of Bandidas asserted that Hayek always travelled with bodyguards in a motorcade of SUVs. But Penelope Cruz maintained a lower and less flashy profile during the filming. The reporters said Hayek had several parties at the ranch.

Villarreal, according to the newspaper, is a member of the criminal organisation run by the Beltran Leyva brothers, former partners in the Sinaloa drug cartel of fugitive Capo Joaquin and now allies of Los Zetas, army veterans and deserters working as hired guns for the Gulf cartel. He was accused of smuggling cocaine to the US and killing several law enforcement agency officials.

Actress Salma Hayek has hit out at aggressive photographers, because they continue to jeopardize the safety of her baby.

The 41-year-old star gave birth to daughter Valentina, whom she had with partner Francois-Henri Pinault last year. Hayek says she is shocked by the lengths snappers will go to get photos of the star with her family.

She says, "I was hounded when I was pregnant. And even more since I've had the baby. They are parked outside of your house and they will not move for months. I didn't leave my house for nearly three months... I've gotten hit with a camera before."

And Hayek has grown increasingly concerned since a February clash with photographers nearly sent her daughter flying to the pavement from her caretaker's arms.

She recalls, "First I see them attacking me with the camera and the flashes. Now she starts screaming, the baby. Then they push the nanny, she was going to the floor.

"It was so disturbing. I didn't know if they wanted to get the picture or they wanted to push the baby and get me crazy. I'm not sure because it was almost - it was really deliberate. It's a baby."

She said: “I don’t even remember what my life was like before. I can tell you that I don’t sleep. This is a cliché but it’s true. I haven’t slept in the last six months.

“The blessing of having a healthy child, I think is the best thing that can happen to anyone.” The 41-year-old star also dismissed stars who claim they have lost their post-baby pounds simply by breastfeeding, insisting she has had to work out to regain her figure.

Salma added to a US TV show: “I thought, ‘As soon as this baby’s out, I’m just going to lose all the weight super- fast because I'm going to breastfeed and the weight is going to come off.’ “It takes you nine months to get it, and nine months to lose it. I’m proud of what I’ve lost. And the rest is going to go when it's time to go.”

Judi Dench and Nicole Kidman are said to be in talks to join Javier Bardem and his girlfriend Penelope Cruz (pictured together with Salma Hayek, right) in the film adaptation of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, Nine. The show, first staged in 1982, was an adaptation of Fellini's 8 1/2 and is about a film director (Bardem) juggling the demands of the many women in his life.

Kidman, who is due to have a baby before filming starts in September, sang and danced in Moulin Rouge. Dench, best known to international film-goers for her portrayal of M in recent Bond movies, has plenty of musical experience. She played Sally Bowles in the original London production of Cabaret in 1968, and won the 1995 Olivier Award for the revival of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music.

Bardem, meanwhile, finds himself in the bizarre position of having been replaced on a film by a woman. Francis Ford Coppola has cast the Spanish actress Carmen Maura to take over the role Bardem was due to play opposite Vincent Gallo in the Godfather director's new film Tetro.

Coppola said: "As I read and reread (the script), I felt that the interaction between the two characters would be far more intriguing if they were of the opposite sex."

Oh oh! Salma Hayek's parent's aren't going to be thrilled about this one! First Salma said she wasn't going to marry her baby daddy and now she says she won't baptize little Valentina Paloma, which clashes with her parents' religious beliefs.

Salma's producer pal Felipe Fernandez del Paso recently spent Easter with her and has confirmed that Valentina won't be christened.

He tells PeopleEnEspanol.com, "The little girl is about to turn six months old. She's beautiful. Salma doesn't want her to be baptized because she just doesn't feel like it."

Because she doesn't feel like it? Come on buddy, you gotta do better than that! And what's with 'pals' always snitching on their celebrity friends to the press?
